Alana and Alyssa
The beauty of Alana De La Garza is awe-inspiring even on tiny screens. De La Garza, a Mexican American father and an Irish American mother were born in Columbus Ohio on June 26, 1976. In the next few years, she moved to Texas where she pursued an athletic therapy profession within the University of Texas. De La Garza stayed in Texas for a brief period before moving into Orlando Florida. She took on a variety of roles in acting, such as local independent films and commercials. Despite the fact that she only had minor parts, the actress quickly realized her passion for performing. After moving to New York and in 2001 she landed her first role on the daytime soap All My Children as Rosa Santos. Through the early part of 2000, she played small roles in JAG Las Vegas as well as Two and a Half Men. Her first major part came in the year 2004 on the short film The Mountain. De La Garza starred as Maria Serrano alongside top TV stars such as Barbara Hershey Oliver Hudson Penn Badgley, Mitch Pileggi. Her role most remembered for was her A.D.A. character in Law & Order (2006). Connie Rubirosa. She was on for 85 of the episodes. Her next role was on the brief-lived spin-off Law & Order: LA. De La Garza's character received numerous nominations which included Best Supporting Actress for Television at the Imagen Foundation Awards. She also received ALMA Award nods. In 2008, she was awarded one of the Impact Award for Outstanding Performance in a Dramatic Television Series from the National Hispanic Media Coalition. De La Garza got a regular role on CSI Miami a few moments further. She was cast as Marisol Delko, who is the wife of David Caruso's Horatio. On NBC's dark and dramatic show Do No Harm she played the role as the character Dr. Lena Solis. The show was later cancelled by NBC after only two episodes. Alyssa Milano.............................Alyssa Jayne Milano was born on December 19 1972 in the Bensonhurst section of Brooklyn New York City to fashion designer and talent manager Lin Milano and film-music editor Thomas M. Milano. Her parents are born of Italian descent and also has a younger brother Cory who is 10 years her junior. Her family was a conservative, religious family. Milano started her acting career when she was seven after her babysitter joined her in an audition. The audition was attended by four girls from over 1000 applicants. Milano has appeared in ads both on Broadway and television and in the American musical adaptation that portrayed Jane Eyre.
